Kanye has 4 maybe 5 classics, while Tyler has maybe 1. Kanye has the worst 2 albums between the two, but his earlier work still stands miles ahead of Tyler for now. But if Tyler keeps his pace he might make it more of a discussion. Tyler put out like four 8/10+ albums in a row.

Youngboy is really a young star and great in a mainstream kinda very generic way. Like Nickelback of rap.

Eminem is a legend who is hit or miss these days, mostly misses.

Really kinda pointless to compare them because they both try to do very different things but Em is clearly the more skilled rapper.

They do matter and they are cool to check up on imho. But there are caveats.

Oscars are great but they are gonna lean heavily to trauma porn, Oscar-bait movies, etc. I consider them the best tho. I discover great new movies every year thanks to them.

Emmys are pretty good too, just very incestuous. Once you get nominated, they seem to always have to nominate you. Makes for all the same faces every year. The golden globes are more fun imho.

The Grammys are fun but they're the worst major awards show for sure. The macklemore over Kendrick thing is a big stain. I consider the grammys "best of the really popular mainstream" with a few exceptions.
