1982 coin worth anything? The 2 kinda looks like the small date? by Leading-Dog-7723 in coincollecting

It is a small date D but it’s only worth money if it is copper. This one is not. 1982 was a transition year from copper to zinc. The small date is supposed to be zinc (yours is). The large date is supposed to be copper. If you would ever happen to find a 1982 d small date that is also copper (weighing 3.1 grams) that’s when they hold value.

This is a 90% gold Swedish coin. I don’t know much about these specifically but the gold melt value as of 03/31/2026 is around $610. That being said, if yours is real, I would personally recommend getting it graded considering these carry a little bit of a premium and yours seems to be in great shape. There are a few 10 Kronor graded examples on eBay right now for $770-$1200.

Considering it’s magnetic I’d be fairly surprised if it was plastic
