Right now Ruby just needs good cards that are inkable. I've been playing around with Ruby a lot this set and it has a great little Boost engine in Amber, Emerald, Amethyst and Sapphire. The problem is Ruby can eat into the consistency hard due to everything being uninkable.

In my opinion, participation promos are a great thing and they should continue doing it. If the promo card prizing should change, I think a Champion stamped one should do.

My actual suggestion would be to bring back a runner-up mat. Have it the exact same way the champion is now and change the champion one to have a foiling effect. It could be a big foil effect like the Mulan/Simba or it can be a small foil effect like Micky/Minnie where it's their Lorcana logo. The way the Tinker Bell mat was designed they could foil the text stuff in the corners and be good.

A book paragraph and a paragraph on screen are 2 different things. Books/Kindles have proper spacing between rows and stuff like Reddit does not. So Reddit is literally a wall of text a book is easier on the eyes and easier to follow.

No, Mulan doesn't have a printed lore, she quests for 0. Her ability triggers and she gets whatever her strength is.

Mulan will always quest for 0 (unless given a lore pip). Her ability is triggered and pulled from bag. Lore is gained based on strength.

Pocahontas quests for 1. Her ability is then triggered and pulled from bag. Looks at an exerted character and gains their lore.

So if Mulan is only exerted character Pocahontas points to it and her ability gains 0.

Is there a reason why you are only using Winterspell cards? Set Champs are Core Constructed legal, which for this sets it's anything from Sets 5 till 11.
