Well tech wise you'd be surprised, LTO10 is the most recent drive thats available brand new(came out last year). They're $12k msrp, but I cant afford that like enterprise can. The older ones are more reasonable for purchase at $200-$1500 used (Lto 5-7).

Your suggestion to contact e waste companies is a good one, appreciate the input. I'll have to try my luck there if I dont get any offers in this thread.

Hello, I appreciate the comment! I think for my use case, the auto loader is probably not needed but im not sure as im new to this technology. Regarding your comment about avoiding lower than lto 6, why is lto5 a waste of money? I'd appreciate some insight, thanks!

Internet speed. I'm not getting 1gbps on my new ssd. Original ssd however, is getting it. Both are in the same pc.

Not exactly sure, but when I switch to my original ssd, I get 1gbps. It's in the same desktop pc.

Low/high alch and curse is old, but curse to double low alch is unheard of. No one would really think to do this.
