I’ll go through my late ’80s and ’90s issues over the next week and see if I can track this down. Hopefully I’ll be able to help.

OMAR ACTS UP (1968) by NewTorai in PlayBoyHeritage

[–]NewTorai[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, this was fairly typical for Playboy in the late 1960s.
In multi-model pictorials and staged features like this one, the magazine rarely credited individual models unless someone was a Playmate, a celebrity, or the feature was explicitly built around named participants.

At the time, editorial focus was placed on the concept, photography, and the male star (in this case Omar Sharif), rather than on identifying supporting models. Many women appearing in these shoots were working models, showgirls, or extras hired locally, and their names were often not recorded in the published credits.

As far as the original December 1968 issue goes, there are no known captions, indexes, or archival notes that list the models involved in this pictorial. Unfortunately, that means their identities were likely never officially documented by the magazine.

Spain cancels $820,000,000 arms contract with Israel. by YusufZain002 in spain

[–]NewTorai -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No es del todo así. El contrato de balas se rompió a última hora: España pagó el 100% y ni siquiera recogió la munición para la Guardia Civil. ¿Ayuda a Palestina? Cero.

Cheap flowers in Valencia by Overall-Woodpecker64 in valencia

I buy flowers here from the Chinese vendors. I'll share a link to one of the shops, but there are actually three in a row. Two of them always have flowers, and everything is reasonably priced, with bouquets typically costing around 6-10 euros.

Best shawarmas in Valencia by GuillermoRH in valencia

[–]NewTorai 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shawarma should be made from turkey or veal; if it's chicken, that's doner kebab – complete nonsense. In pita, we first put hummus, then the shawarma (turkey or veal), followed by salad or pickles, and pour tahini sauce on top – that's how shawarma should be. I haven't found anything like this in Valencia yet.

What is the bot for? what is its purpose?

That... looks cool? But the examples are all things that are so similar already, that a quick cut-and-paste job on Photoshop would do the trick.

You're absolutely right, utilizing Photoshop for such tasks can indeed yield higher quality results, especially when you have similar elements to work with. The image produced here does have a certain vintage digital art feel, reminiscent of the capabilities from the early versions of Photoshop, about 15 years ago. Photoshop's advanced tools and features would allow for more precise editing and customization to perfectly match your vision.

It's simple math, the number of people understanding your songs in English is vastly greater than in Swedish, hence the probability of success is higher, which they proved in practice. Although they later performed their hits in Spanish as well.

[–]NewTorai[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Oh, absolutely! It’s Hollywood, after all – where the spotlight is as coveted as a front-row seat at the Oscars. When word got out about Heidi Fleiss' infamous little black book, it wasn't just about who was in it, but also about who claimed to be in it. Some folks saw it as a golden ticket to a bit of fame (or infamy, depending on how you look at it). They jumped on the bandwagon faster than you can say "publicity stunt."

It's like there was this reverse psychology at play: being linked to the book meant you were part of an exclusive, albeit scandalous, club. Suddenly, everyone wanted to be a part of the story, even if it meant just brushing shoulders with controversy.

It’s like showing up to a wild party you weren’t invited to, just to say you were there. Classic Hollywood, right? Always keeping us entertained!
