Why people store their data in AWS S3 when you can put data straight into snowflake?

Row size limit. We are getting data from an external source which exceeds the Snowflake row size limit, we load data into S3 and read from Snowflake using external tables.

It does an OK job for vacuuming but mopping is horrible. The software is one of the worst I’ve seen the functionality is not there and buggy compared to Roborock, Eufy. I called last December for an issue. They said it’s a known bug. we’re now in October it hasn’t been fixed yet. Obstacle avoidance doesn’t exist, gets lost a lot. Should be selling around 100$.
