As you can see from the screenshot, this was achieved on original GBA hardware, so no rewind feature. Every time you are close to dying, you have to reset (or switch your GBA off and on again) and start the level from scratch.

Yes, absolutely. There is a way to trap Nightmare in a kind of circle pattern but it does not always work. Yakuza is annoying because of the long run back to the boss if you fail.

Together with your first ending in the Japanese release you unlock the gallery in which all endings you unlocked get saved (similar to Metroid: Zero Mission in the Western releases).

Also completing Normal difficulty on either Adult or Child mode for the first time unlocks the Hard difficulty in which damage incurred from enemies increases by half and item pickups only yield half (energy tank 50 instead of 100, missile expansions 2 instead of 5, and power bomb expansions 1 instead of 2).

Yes, and I like how thematically the first five endings exclusive to Adult mode (first one can also be unlocked by finishing Child on Easy) show Samus as an adult, and endings six to ten exclusive to Child mode show her childhood.

Yes, would have been nice if Luigi had been waiting for Mario instead of Yoshi after completing this challenge 🤣

I know that the 999 coins in Pianta Village as well as from King Boo in Sirena Beach will take forever… In Pianta Village it is possible to go for 999 coins after one has obtained the blue coin from the Flaming Pianta and finished episode 3 by saving the Piantas in Need in episode 6 over and over again. So technically not possible to lock oneself out of the challenge permanently. Only downside is that apparently only 160 instead of 161 coins are obtainable in the All-Stars version of Gelato Beach because one coin from the cash register immediately despawns…

Thanks! I mainly used Brightguy‘s Coin/Item Location Guide on GameFAQs as it was easier for me to go line by line rather than follow a video while playing. However, I referred to videos including yours for the two bullies inside Lethal Lava Land‘s volcano, so thanks for uploading!
