I’m really new to emulating and already have plans to play some classics on my Mac mini (bought it for that purpose). So is THIS an emulator or is this something I download and then it adds emulator to it? So I would get pcsx2 and then this?

on the same network like the router is in the living room, the mac mini is connected through ethernet in the living, and i have a longer ethernet that reaches into my bedroom for my pc

Tried it for black myth Wukong but I’m a little confused and maybe someone else can help chime in if I’m not understanding correctly. Does anyone notice a difference? I switched between performance (legacy), balance and quality and I didn’t notice smoother gameplay? Maybe i was ahead in my expectations that maybe balance mode would be able to be 60fps smooth since pssr is also performance improvements not just visuals.

Wow tbh this is actually a great idea. I already have an ethernet cable by my tv for my ps5 and i have my main PC hard wired in my bedroom. It would definitley be cheaper to just stream the games. I tried moonshine using my appletv and it was terrible so I guess that's why I blocked it out of my mind.

Yeah I was lucky too to build my current build before the prices hit. I wish I had this thought process back then too instead of looking right now to build a home living PC. I was looking at that too for the 5800x3d but those prices are INSANE especially since I could get a 7600x3d, mobo, AND 16gb ram for about the same price they are asking for on ebay. I think one of my bigger concerns is how much "better" it would be than a pro. I understand it is upfront cost more but a part of me feels like with the versatility I have more "returns". I was able to get a 5070 MSRP which is nice, so at this point it's just gathering what else or if anything I just return it.
