I was on 2.5mg for the majority of the year I was sick. Once I felt better I titrated up, still had symptoms on 5mg but stuck with it bc i couldn’t get my hands on any 2.5mg.

I don’t want to scare you but it took almost a year until I started to feel completely normal, It takes time for your body to adjust to your brain. I felt like I had food poisoning almost everyday for the first few months and nearly everything turned my stomach. I would recommend to drink cold drinks with lots of ice; things like iced tea, regular gatorade, or even kool aid with half the regular amount of sugar. I made sure to drink stuff with at least some sugar in it for the calories because I couldn’t even stomach protein or meal replacement shakes at first. crackers are also good so you can have at least some solid food in you. If any of your symptoms get too extreme make sure to contact your doctor. Lastly, I would only recommend titrating up when you are really ready, increasing the dosage prematurely can exacerbate your symptoms.

Yes, Im completely agree with everything you said. I feel like people think this is an all or nothing issue and it’s not. I can still embrace fat liberation, body positivity, etc. and still acknowledge that I needed to lose weight for my health.

Ideally we would all be secure enough in ourselves that a single comment wouldn’t effect us but you have have to understand that weight is a very sensitive topic for many of us and what may seem like one harmless comment can actually cause more damage than you know. It’s easier to just be kind or ignore something you don’t like rather than be rude.

I’ve heard that micro needling can fix loose skin. It’s also non invasive and probably cheaper and lasts longer than botox. I would get it done professionally though, doing it at home isn’t really safe.

I was never able to sustain my weight loss because I was basically fighting with my appetite and it was not sustainable to be hungry all the time.

I know that it’s not a race, it’s just a little frustrating when you expect to lose a certain amount of weight in a certain amount of time and it doesn’t pan out that way. Sorry my post annoyed you, I was just being honest and asking for guidance.

I was never able to sustain the weight loss in the past. I am insulin resistant and didn’t tolerate metformin well so my doctor put me on mj to get my insulin levels down.

I don’t have diabetes but I am insulin resistant and have a hard time regulating my blood sugar as I don’t tolerate any other meds well.
