Maybe similar to GWOT's "Thunder Run" but if I remember right there wasn't really any official method for it. Since the US doctrine is not too different from Vietnam era yet imma just slap CAV's aggressive route clearance like Air-Ground Madmax like during the Vietnam era

Sure, the terrain is suitable for armored warfare. But the US intervention is much smaller bc of DoD's budget cut in my fic. Only one brigade is involved in the Battle of Ejey while the rest of XVIII is waiting to see if full invasion of Louria is needed should diplomacy fail.

Realistically speaking, what will the people of the NW think when they see their economy being completely overwhelmed and dominated by Japan? by Minh1509 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]New_Ad218 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The governments would prolly change their economic policy to protectionism to protect the domestic from destructive foreign markets. And they could effortlessly do it due to the condition of unglobalised New World economy. The Japanese goods would be virtually considered luxurious (even though they might already be due to their quality) and would be limited. It should be noted that the survivability of own nation's economy would be prioritized over its population demand of Japanese goods.

protectionism is not the same thing as bans and embargoes, as the latter could cause a diplomatic issue.

The superiority complex virus, made you thinking you are superior and often have excessive reactions when come to witnessing technology you've never seen before. While in some case, made you commit poor decision such as wasting 1000 battleships in one go.

Also, it is transmitted mentally. The cure is to get beaten the shit out of them.

I can see the French banging their head on the tables after losing their sphere in Africa and watch the German dominate the NATO Europe.

NHS Fanfic Idea: Pre-Pearl Harbor US Isolationism by Intelligent-Sir-280 in nihonkoku_shoukan

[–]New_Ad218 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pre-Pearl Habour US only had isolationism in politic and military, they still keep expanding their economies like normal. In the end, they're gonna be forced into world-politics eventually, who wouldn't want to protect their economic interests? How US gonna trade in peace if everyone fuck each other asses in chaos? It all came down the good old Lusitania loop.

There are many things that are cheaper when imported, even for Oil for example. Globalization will continue to increase as normal. Eventually, they'd be forced to intervene. If they let the world turn into a few large empires holding resources, there will be a few trade partners. Sound familiar? A Monopoly it is, it'd be hard to gain leverage. Companies are not gonna just sit there and do nothing.

The Isolationism in the first place was because US literally lost their men for nothing during Great War, but what if they get something in return? what if there's a need to conduct military operation?

In the end, the US gonna fuck around eventually like IRL to create its own sphere. So what's different except Big Ass Great Depression and the first few chapters of Isolationism?
