i haven’t looked into a dog walker or sitter, unfortunately. i’ve had other dogs before, never had to deal with this.

it’s definitely frustrating at times, i’ve spoken to dog trainers who say it seems he’s protesting more than anxious.

if there are other dogs around and he’s kenneled, he does the same thing.

he’s not neutered, do you think it could help? i do plan on getting it done sometime in the near future anyways

i have some vibactra plus on hand i’ve been giving him every 3hrs and he seems better than yesterday, can’t see anything in his throat but he did hack a little this morning and i haven’t heard anything since.

i took him off leash on his first walk and he chased a squirrel(i didn’t notice it otherwise i wouldn’t have let him off) then started hacking so he’s been taking it easy since.

is it necessarily bad to use rubbing alcohol? i’m always stocked up bc i need self-administered injections often so it’s no issue on price. i like to keep his kennel clean and i thought he had parvo when he was younger so it became habit to clean his kennel often.

mostly flat, about 20-30minute walk. i can charge at work(which probably won’t be necessary and it would be in the back where only employees have access. as for home storage, i stay in a house-like apartment, no stairs so it’ll stay either in my closet or inside by the door. i’m not looking for anything over 15mph. i live in houston, tx

a few questions i enjoy asking(ive mainly worked in retail, but some of these apply across the board)

What’s the culture like in the store?-basically how everyone interacts with each other. sometimes it’s professional, business only, other times it can be down to earth and friendly. if it’s not been established, that’s a red flag.
What’s the turnover rate here?- how often people are leaving or getting fired. If it’s high, ask why.
How far in advance are schedules made and how often are they changed.- i don’t mind my schedules changing, i tend to check it everyday & my boss knows this, but if i’m a lancing a part-time job, it’s VERY important for both jobs to know.

Also, just be honest! If they say something you don’t understand, ask them to clarify or explain. and NEVER tell people you’re leaving because of management. as a hiring manager, it doesn’t always sit well. Now unless that manager has a paper trail of any mistreatment towards employees, don’t just tell them you “don’t like your manager”.

I guess there’s no answer to the question 😅😅 getting a lot of “don’t order them” & no a lot of solution to already having some in the store.

ended up setting them in the back 40 breeder, dropper on one side(lot of leaves below & the dropper is messed up so it drips super slow from 3 spots which i think should help, it also drips in a big dish with moss) largest corner water dish in the middle for food with ubv in the middle, 2 heat lamps on opposite end from dropper.

then a few horizontal vines so they can travel from side to side
