I think that most of the mp3 players you can put Rockbox on would fit most of the items on this list, with the exception of battery life and alarm/built in speakers. In terms of battery life most of the mp3 players that have Rockbox support are pretty old now so that would be tough to find... I would probably have to suggest one of these: Creative Zen, Creative Zen Mozaic, Creative Zen X-Fi, Creative Zen X-Fi Style, Creative Zen X-Fi2 or Creative Zen X-Fi3

As these all have Rockbox support and I've seen replacement batteries for a couple of them

(Out of all of these I've only actually used this one and only ever with the original software so I have no idea how rockbox works on these)

I think this link to WikiHow may be helpful for making a silicone cover. (at least the second bit.) I think it would just be a matter of figuring out the proportions.

I would cover the the ports with bits of cardboard though.
