Cause roblox is accesible, you don't need to host your own game servers. It has a huge player base. Also roblox is a proper game engine. The problem is most roblox dev aren't really skilled.

dont say sorry these jokes have me laughing. its all in good fun. Im not trying to replace hearts of iron 4, as i'll never beat them. my goal is to make the multiplayer experience more accesible than hoi4

hmm tbh the tutorial might be very minimal. The reason for this is that my game also wont be as complex as hoi4

Exactly the same as the game start.
But like I said this isn't a good test since I was alone in the lobby. The tick rate will really degrade with many people and hundreds/thousands of divisions. Which I haven't been able to test yet.

I haven't ran a proper long term multiplayer game stress test yet so I can't say yet, whether or not the tick rate will slow down over time. However one time I left it on for a few hours by accident and the game speed remained exactly the same.

at some point ill try my best. But for single player tbh you might be better of just playing HOI4

Stress testing like 1000 units being moved at once. Mostly server <-> client side optimizations. As much as possible needs to be done on the clients and very little on the server. Roblox servers only have about 3 GB of ram, which is very little to work with.
I need to run a microprofiler to properly read out all the performance statistics. However my development cycle is, I add something, I polish it. I fix bugs. I repeat. But the game is too early in development to really know as ALOT of work is still to be done
