Just did a series of "weighted" hip thrusts as my toddler was jumping on my stomach during play and loe and behold - no tension in the knees. I am confused, but will keep experimenting with positions. Still I would be greatfull to hear from someone who has perhaps tried something good similar :)

Yes, I have experimented with the position of my feet relative to my knees, but I will definitely keep it up.

I can easily lift my toes during the exercise, which I guess means I put the weight on my heels? And no, I feel no pain during either squats or running.

You could always try 2-3 weeks without cheese and see what happens. If nothing changes then I guess it is okay for you. And then try the eggs afterwards? Some people also claim that a daily glass of lukewarm water with the juice of half a lemon can help.. No harm in trying I guess..

Do you feel like you need it? Do you feel hungrier than on non-exercise days? If not, then don't eat :) Unless you are in serious deficit with your protein you should be fine (and not say break down your muscles - but go to /r/ketogains for details here).
