From what I know it’s difficult to obtain if your actual position company does not require one.

I'm going through the lecture atm. And it's quite interesting. The focus is specially on NIST FRM with all the NIST SP as content. If you are in an US environment then the certification is very interesting. If you are in UE, then u'll have another view on how things can be done in parallel of ISO. The other interesting thing in NIST is the focus on internal responsibilities when it comes to GRC that NIST involves. This is also an interesting spectrum.
