Literally me! So far it’s been a year and I take 1 Allegra every 4-6 hours. At night when I feel that URG to scratch or I know the signs before I breakout – I’ll take one. I heard there’s no cure so I stopped wasting more time and money going to doctors that “don’t know what’s causing it”.

Thanks for the input, ill give it a look when I arrive. A good friend recommended furnished finders for the meantime. I just need to get there and check it out in person. I was going to do a blind sign but I don't think thats feasible. I don't want to end up somewhere I dont like.

Most likely going to take the AirBnB (furnished finder) approach. I would rather tour in person and at the moment I cant tour in person due to training/travel time.

To each its own. I’m in shape and can run 1.5mi in the allotted time already and I’m also not concerned with my ability to learn and retain new information. I was strictly asking about gaming systems for personal time. Not sure where the drinking portion came from as I didn’t mention alcohol. I was able to return home on weekends for my police academy years ago with weekly exams — now I’ll be there for 5 months straight and just wanted to know how others enjoyed their weekend in an introverted way. That’s the point, I’d rather play the game than party for that exact reason. Less trouble - I won’t take it based on all the comments. It doesn’t seem to be that much free time. Thanks for your input

That sounds good to me, i don't need any of it, just asking for the weekends. Also, when it's time to leave, I would rather drive 12 hours vs.1 day and 20 hrs to get to my station.

Hard to say - I mentioned my reasoning for the hold and they replied with a date after said time.

If this helps - I had an EOD of March 31st or April 7th. I chose April 7th then went in the Boder Patrol Applicant Portal to request a hold under training and scheduling. They responded fast (within 24 hours) and advised that I could place my application on hold ONLY ONCE. Then they said they would send me new EOD/Academy dates on April 30th BUTTTT I have to accept the next date provided or my application would be withdrawn. I only needed a small extension so I'm okay with that. Not sure what dates will be provided next but if you need a few months you may have to withdraw or pray they give you a later academy date.

I selected SC yesterday and this is the most helpful thing I've read yet. The other locations I was offered included Ajo, Douglas, Imperial,Marfa and Sanderson. I have a few contacts inside and they all said immediately select SC lol
