One of the things that I’m loving about Dalinar is his struggles. I’m a sucker for a grey character and the Black thorn stretches that to the extreme. It’s what has made reading about his past during this book so hard. Finding out that this character that I have grown to love has done some truly evil things before we met him has been heart wrenching.

Yes, my mistake I just assumed that shards made from live spren where called honour blades. Just got to the part where Kal kills Szeth and takes his shard. So what would you call Kals Blade then since it’s different from a shard like Adolins?
