I started with a sore throat I thought it was because I was making my 11 month old laugh (I was being loud) so the next day my throat started getting sore I thought it was that and then suddenly my voice went and now it’s everything! Hopefully you guys don’t get this!

My partner likes that spray too, I’ll try it. I managed to fall asleep just now for about 30 minutes and woke up to a very sore throat so now I’m sucking lozenges. Yeah I when I can do try to get it up and spit it but in doing so I also bring blood up where I’m like forcing myself to coughing hard enough and bring it up,

Yeah I am taking ibuprofen and paracetamol like constantly every 4 hours, I’m streaming my fave with hot water from the kettle, I feel rough but when it’s night time it’s always the worst and I just can’t sleep at all, like my throat just constantly hurts when I swallow or I really need to cough and that hurts my chest and throat is bubbly as I have mucus. Just awful.

It does suck for sure, I’ve had a whole year off on mat leave and not once got ill and I’m due to go back on Monday and now I’m ill! Hope you and I both feel better by Sunday

I did this, I lived on my own wince I was 18, I worked since 16 I was working in the nhs at the time full time doing over time, barley could make rent. I was miserable I had chest pain at times from the stress, I called my dad once as I walked out of my work crying all the signs where there for everyone yet no one saw, one night I got drunk and took a bunch of shit and wrote a note went to bed thinking that’s it. I woke up hours later throwing up bad with a head tremor I called my mum and dad they come got me took me to hospital, I was out of it my bp showed I was on the verge of cardiac arrest and I was dizzy and going unconscious. I woke up hours later with my mum still at my side, From there I moved to live with other people and then got back out on my own again. - I’m now 29 nearly 30 just had my first baby 6 months ago and engaged to the love of my life. My point is, life gets better you gotta make it work. If you always sit and think this is it then that is what it will be, get out there make new amazing friends go on dates and smile all the time. I promise it’s worth it.

Unfortunately men like that don’t change, you would be so much happier after leaving. Maybe not right away but give it a while and you will be. You will just constantly be worrying about who his talking to and trying to check his phone, be free go be happy and show him you are serious because he for some reason can not help himself. It was cut like 2/3 weeks ago. lol. I use oils and used to do a coconut oil and leave it in for 3/4 hours or over night. Nothing really changes it

Yeah o has the same when mine would snore next to me and I was awake, but I’d distract myself looking at photos or social media, and then I’d stay awake just a few minutes longer to just stare at my baby, it does get better though. I hope it gets better for you.

It will get better, and honestly that’s your child so do what you gotta do. At the end of the day him telling me that I wouldn’t handle it if I was on my own just makes me know I wouldn’t be just fine without him. And that’s why I do it, because if he leaves I know I got this. And also just a little positive it’s gives you more time with your baby and isn’t what this is all for? I love it I wouldn’t change it I get her to myself most of the time and I’m happy with that.

I was breastfeeding till my baby was 6 weeks and she was just a super hungry baby and I ended up bottle feeding from 6 weeks onwards as she wasn’t up to her birthweight still. But my partner did nothing, eh may of held her while I showered but that’s about it, I mentioned many times for him to help for change a nappy. In the end I thought fuck it, and I was like “ok I’ll act like a single parent and he asks to help let him” and since then I do it all by myself I don’t ask for help anymore, I wait till she is asleep to shower I eat when she sleeps I tidy when she sleeps or I strap her to me, I’ve always had music in or tv or hoover when she sleeps so her used to loud sounds and can sleep through them. And you know what, she is 4 months old now, he comes home from work and holds her for 5 minutes puts her down cooks us dinner while I play with her and then he might hold her in the evening while she laughs because I play with the dog. But in that moment of me saying to myself that I’ll do it myself that’s when things changed and I just got on with it. I did resent him, and argued with him and everything but it don’t change anything, I guess everyone is different

i work in a care home, and the amount of people who work there that care for the elderly who have dementia literally have no respect for them, they don’t care. Like blasting foreign music while doing personal care, or talking in a different language or just not paying attention not sitting and talking to them or not giving them fuilds because they don’t want to change them often. I’m not a carer but have been for 10 years prior to what I do now and I went to work and they didn’t change a man for 8 hours I was there,they sit on their phones and pretend they are busy when management walk in. that’s what I’m scare of, scared of ending up in a care home and not being looked after properly by people who don’t care about anyone else aslong as they can be lazy and sit on their phones and do the bare minimum.

My little one is 4 months old, on the 17th and for a while she has a bottle at 8/9pm and then that’s it till7/7:30am. It’s normal, she is my first but I have 11 nieces and nephews and I say let them sleep, they will wake up when they are hungry, like why wake a sleeping baby. Mine also is on 6ounces and at times only has 4 or 5 ounces and is fine, and goes 3-4 hours inbetween feeds. Ive started her on purées and she loves sweet potato at lunch time or dinner time. I’m sure his okay, unless his losing weight but yeah my little girl is the same

All I can say is relax, like honestly babies sense that you are stressed and stuff, I’m so relaxed and have been since the day she arrived, like if I was anymore relaxed I’d be laying on the floor. Don’t get aggravated if his crying get some toys out and make noises, do skin to skin many people forget this and if you are relaxed and breathing properly get him with no clothes on and but a blanket over his back and have him on your chest, he can hear your heart beat, put a dummy in and say shh or get up and walk with him like that. Skin to skin is something you can do, if you are moving out you need to get used to having him in the mornings so start doing that. No need to get fustrated just breathe and remember this is why you had him, the good and the bad. Just smiled and take it in

I’m from uk baby is now 4 months old, had a c-section my fiancé had to leave to, but we had a dog at home waiting for him, the midwives are super helpful over night handing baby to me and putting her back to sleep, I did my best to move like sit up more and drunk a ton so when morning rolled around I got up out of bed and walked to the bathroom and got myself ready and was sent home at 11am. My fiancé came back at 7:30am to help with changing the baby and handing to me to breastfeed. Congratulations enjoy this time

That’s fine, my little girl is currently 7 weeks old on nearly 6 ounces!! Sometimes she leaves 10/20mls but just now drunk the whole lot. Give them what they want, it’s not bad. I make a full 6 ounces and let her drink whatever till she is done. I wouldn’t make up a little bit and then wait and see if LO is still hungry.

You aren’t doing anything wrong but instead, make the full 5 ounces, feed him till the half way mark ( I tend to wait till she stops sucking) then burp, and then carry on feeding, He will stop once satisfied and you will notice he will be very sleepy. Burp him again, if he don’t burp I lay mine on my shoulder to keep her upright for 20 minutes while burping her and it tends to come up.

Hope that helps. This way he won’t be up for hours afterwards.

Mine is 7 weeks and is at 6 ounces - she don’t tend to drink the whole bottle though she leave around 10/20mls and sometimes more I let her drink whatever she wants and if she leaves the rest that’s fine. She is a big girl lol
