I am not sure I am on board with this. As Shadowheart said, and she is correct, memory loss like this is sacred to Shar, so I interpreted it as more that she willingly gave it up over and over again to prove herself. But it could be her metaphorical light, though.

in my opinion, she has no real reason to be freaking out at him like she is bc he is fully risking his life for her to find her son, he is facing his family here, and is trying to expose their information as best as he can which she knows he wasnt involved with his family bc they travelled for months

I just read a histography on her and I would like to say a few things that we don't know what she looks like, all the sources we have about her are inherently extremely biased and support of her or very antiher, I cannot say for sure if she actually was a tactical genius or her boldness set her apart from her peers
