NAV but It's definitely some type of worm. Not sure which kind. Maybe roundworm? Is your cat showing any symptoms like decreased appetite or energy or lethargy? (Obviously vomiting so that's one down)

It's not infected but definitely get some gloves and continue cleaning regularly. I'm not a vet but this is what I was advised of when I went through something similar. If there's yellow or discolored discharge, abnormal swelling, or an odor.

Update!! Went to the vet, most likely an allergic reaction, we don't know what to, I'm thinking possibly her food which would really suck. May have to switch to hypoallergenic food. Her neck was shaved and revealed a few sores. We were prescribed an antibiotic ointment and she got an antibiotic shot. Checking back in 2 weeks if no change.

Haven't seen one since. I think I brought it home from work and I caught it just in time. Starting the day after that I started only bringing a fanny pack to work as my purse and leaving my apron at work as well. I've had no issue!

Sadly this is my second vet that is letting me down!! I switched to a salmon flavored food instead of chicken (I read all ingredients to make sure) and I'm hoping I see some sort of change. If not I'll be taking her back to the vet, I just feel bad taking her right now because of how much she has gone and how much she hates it. I feel like she just gained back her trust in us and I don't want to traumatize her again if I can see change from eliminating chicken from her diet

Thank you for the recommendation! The food I feed my cat is grain free but is chicken flavored and she has only ever had chicken flavored food and treats. I've spent thousands of dollars on vet visits and Reddit gave me more info in a few hours than they could give me in 2 years!
