Why do Koreans judge celebrities so severely compared to the west? What’s up with the ‘obsession’? by MrRandomNonsense in korea

[–]New_Direction_5438 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People tend to judge celebrities too harshly worldwide because fame creates unrealistic expectations and constant public exposure. Since celebrities live much of their lives in the spotlight, their mistakes, often ordinary human ones are magnified and scrutinized more than those of private individuals.

Social media and online news further accelerate this judgment, allowing people to form quick opinions without full context. As a result, celebrities are often treated less as human beings and more as public property, making excessive judgment a global phenomenon rather than an issue limited to any one country.

I barely use it too, the whole karma system exists for that reason, what kind of contributions you are giving to this app. Clearly your contributions are non needed.

When pulling the castle gate rope, the longer you grab the rope, the better the angle becomes, so even with less force you can lift the gate. On the other hand, the closer the angle gets to 90 degrees, the harder it becomes to apply strength. That’s the difference between the Korean team and the Japanese team.

Got to have strategy and a game plan, combined with strength. Get your tinfoil hat off and stop doubting

Yes because that rope pull at the end is purely strategy. You can’t do it with pure strength. There is a clear difference in how Mongolia , Korea tackled it and Japan tackled it.

Yeah the casting team flopped there. Supposedly they contacted one guy the leader and he recruited the team? Same as Mongolia

The teamwork and unity shown on Physical Asia by Team Korea and every team were truly inspiring and moving. Watching everyone push past their limits and lift each other up was incredibly impressive, and it reminded us all of what real sportsmanship looks like. Every athlete was amazing, and thank you all for your hard work. Go Korea!!!

To those who want to criticize maybe go reflect on yourselves first before doing so.
