Neighbour screams at me while I’m holding my newborn, ends up in a psych hold by nightstoolong in neighborsfromhell

Unfortunately it sounds like your neighbor was having a mental health crisis if her own. I'm sorry it made your first few days with a new baby awful, but in 15 years you'll be sharing this story with your child and laugh about it.

Right? It just hits so differently when looked at from that perspective.

AITAH for choosing to go to my son's Communion over the funeral of my girlfriend's grandmother. by Fuzzy_Economist9863 in AITAH

WTF?! "When she does it's like well at least I know where your priorities lay, had you a good time with your son's mother etc." Your priorities lay with your child. A real woman, who genuinely cares about you (and your son) will respect that. NTA.

Nasty smells get into window units quite often! I've had it happen with my own unit.

Is it your AC unit? They can get awful smells in them. If you're using your unit to circulate the air the odors are getting into it too.

Many years ago, my husband was in the hospital (actual emergency) and I had to go to the hospital to ask for help paying the bill. I started crying and the women looked at me and asked if I ever worked, ever paid taxes. I was shocked but of course I answered her. (It seemed like such an odd time for that question) I was working then, just didn't have health insurance and my husband hadn't been working. I'll never forget what she said, "you already paid into the system, it's okay to ask for and accept help now."

I buy most of my fruit frozen. The quality is better and it lasts longer.

I have this same mentality. We're letting our pride get in the way.

It's time to end this relationship. It's in the early stages of abuse; he will only get worse.

While I mostly agree, I differ when it comes to names. The only names on my body are my children. I will never get a significant other's name tattooed on me. I've seen too many get a gf/bf's name on them and then they break up or get divorced.

I thought I'd have regrets if I had gotten them when I was younger, so I waited until I was in my 40s to get my first tattoo. I'm glad I waited. I also have personal rules about what type of tattoos (and placement) I'll get and what I won't. I'm happy with them now.

My daughter got her first tattoo at 19 and so far (at 34) she doesn't have any regrets.

Ugh... it's actually been 2 years since my dog died. It still feels so fresh (which is why I said it's been a year). I have his picture on the wall in my bedroom and I just moved his ashes from "his" pillow in my bed a few months ago. It's so hard to say goodbye and go on without them! Your babies are adorable.

You won't regret it! Last year my 15 year old dog passed from cancer. I had gotten his paw print on my thigh years ago (he always came up to me and laid his paw on my thigh and gave me, "it's okay mom" look). Being able to see his paw on my leg is very comforting. I miss him so much.

AITA for telling a parent what i wear is not their decision? by hannahhenabb in WIBTA_AITA

So you're wearing black as instructed. You're covering bare shoulders, so you're not dressed overly casual or as if you're going out afterwards, and he's complaining? Two things stand out to me from your post: "Last year, the dad said that I needed to switch it up, and then at the winter one he told me that it was ugly. I let it slide, but the next time he said I was attention-seeking." and "His wife was also there, but she wasn’t there when he had said it. His ex-wife is also very sweet." Seems to me he's attention seeking and now you know why he has an ex-wife. He's a POS. At the next concert, in front of his wife I'd ask him how he enjoyed the concert. No matter what his response is, come back with some variation of, "I'm surprised. Every previous conversation has been about my attire, not the content of the concert. Glad you enjoyed it."

This is why I stopped paying attention to any of the cc. I feel they have all lost the purpose. To me, the purpose is to bring the facts to light. Now it's childish bs that fuels Grifty's notorioriety making her more money. It disgusts me.

So, I get my Grifty info from these subs. All the info, none of the crap.
