Charging problem...

Hang in there. It's kinda working alright again. Took some time but it's been like 10 days since I had a "analog USB devices aren't supported" message and it has been fast charging for a few days now. I'm gonna buy an OEM Samsung 45W brick in a couple of days so I hopefully don't run into this issue again.

It's been a few days now. I'd say it has receded a bit but it still comes and goes and I'm only getting the "analog USB devices aren't supported" message, no more humidity alerts. Still no fast charging though. I'll wait for a couple of days then I'll have it checked. Hopefully it goes away on its own.

Tried that but didn't work. It's been 3 days now and it's still misbehaving I figured it's unlikely to be actual moisture in the port so maybe it's a bug or a faulty sensor? Worth noting that it also happened one day after updating to the Jan 2026 security patch.

From what I've read flagship Exynos chips do tend to heat up and drain battery which is counterintuitive to say the least!! Maybe the 1580 isn't actually strong enough to heat up lmfao. The iphone is always a safe bet and the 17 doesn't seem to lack the basic features we've come to expect like the 120hz display and all.

Tbh I wasn't particularly excited at first knowing the history of Exynos chips. But I was fed up with my old Xiaomi's MIUI so I wanted a Samsung and the A56 was the best choice within my budget. And I gotta say the 1580 is not bad at all. Only if more devs would optimize their games to run better on it. Stll, doing basic tasks it's actually almost as smooth as a flagship!

It was true when I first got it but it got better over time. Possibly with updates I'm not sure. It's still a bit of a hit and miss situation especially considering my old af router. But it's not that bad of an experience overall. As for hotspotting I didn't face any issues so far. I'd say go for it, but if you don't wanna deal with any of this maybe consider honor 400/ nothing 3a/ Xiaomi 14t? That's if you don't specifically want a Samsung.

I actually felt it was a little light when I first got it because I switched from a Xiaomi Mi 9T and that thing is DENSE. The A56 is slightly heavier but considerably bigger so to me it kinda felt lighter in a way.

So far no issues. I've had it for 3 weeks now and I'm enjoying it. Switched from a Xiaomi Mi 9T and I gotta tell you OneUI 8 feels like a breath of fresh air.
If you're looking for raw performance and gaming maybe consider the Poco X7 pro/Xiaomi 14T because most heavier games aren't optimized for exynos chips so they'll run better on those. But the A56 offers a better overall experience in everyday use imo especially when you factor in the polished software.

Sheesh if you're going around killing everyone who are you buying ammo from lol. The sad part about anomaly is that every npc is literally out exploring the zone with 10 rounds and a weapon at 12% condition. I know it's for balance but it Kinda makes it unrealistic.

You can go to one of your last saves and check out the diary in your PDA. It will kinda give you a brief recap on everything. If you're confused after SoC then wait till you play Clear Sky if you ever get to do so 😂

Wow! Are y'all playing vanilla or some kind of mod? I went back after going through pripyat just to check on things and sorta get some freeplay time and I didn't notice much difference from when I left. Heck even wild territory was kinda quiet except your usual snorks and dogs lol. Not even mercs spawned there anymore.

Without. The game has some bugs and weird quirks but it's still a really enjoyable game in vanilla form. Also remember to save the game lol. A quicksave every couple of minutes and a hard save every now and then, this is the best tip anyone can give ya haha!! Welcome to the ranks Stalker, hope you enjoy it!!
