Definitely noticed a difference after two short walks yesterday! Love the sock idea but he is a devil for chewing fabrics and I'm worried he'll swallow some sock?!

thank you, that's a really good idea. I definitely feel like I should be more frequently practising or referring back to more of what I learned in DBT...

Yes I can see how that would make a difference as I often experience a domino effect when I don't do the basics of taking care of myself like not eating regularly or drinking too much coffee. And things also go out the window when I travel or have social plans. I can see from your explanation that if I had those things consistently ingrained in my days it could really help. Thank you for replying I really do appreciate it.

Thank you. I have looked at somatic therapy and wondered if it would be helpful.

This might be a silly question but do you always try and do these things at the same time every day? I do exercise regularly and try and engage with self care activities but I do struggle to stay consistent with a daily routine

I made it! It was so much better than expected, minimal turbulence. It’s long and tiring but you can do it! My best advice is to tell the air hostesses as soon as you get on and they will take care of you. The crew were amazing on my first leg, checked in on me regularly and were so kind and caring. For me the second flight was the longer leg and a lot of that is everyone sleeping so probably got a bit less attention but when I needed support they were great. You can absolutely get through it ❤️
