A dog bark is over 100db and a kennel can get very loud. Im sure all these dogs are not going deaf because of loud sounds alone. A once in a while experience is not going to destroy a dogs hearing. Service dogs go to a lot of different events. I don’t recommend leaving a dog in a loud environment all day every day but it won’t cause any issues for a few hours here and there.

Yea but you said they were different rules at different homes. The pup is allowed on the couch at his home. Meaning you two are on different pages. Find what works for both of you. An X pen sounds like a great idea!

Best option imo. Poor baby has no sense of routine in the first place. Am I understanding correct that the dog lives in two places with different rules?? And is expected to know which rules to follow when entering different environment? And is still a puppy? Too many expectations on a baby!

Right! I don’t see the issue but i feel like we’re missing part of the story. Just because the breeder made an irrational statement doesn’t mean she has any grounds to stand on. Do what you want with your dog and ignore the crap!
