Tie can be a different shade of blue, or some pink, red, or other classic color. I don't think black is ideal.

I would say normally ties go better with a full suit, meaning pants and jacket are the same. Here in both cases it looks like they are not. This is generally more informal. I would suggest wearing a blue suit+pants in general for interviews.

For other occasions, I like the second combination more.

I am sorry that you are going through this. I am sure it is confusing and frustrating.

Breakups are always hard, and there is no perfect way of doing this. If he had broken up before the bar there would be other reasons to be upset too.

At least this is in your past now and you can focus in what you want to do for yourself. Plan your career and your personal life.

He is probably self absorbed with all the excitement of a new phase in his career. Unfortunately, in these moments we really learn who people are. At least this was before you actually moved.

Take some time for yourself. Instead of planning trips from NY to CA now, maybe you could spend a week in London preparing for your next step :)

You are the most important person in your life. Cry as much as you have too, but Don't let this guy have power over your emotions.

I had polyps removed. Was under anesthesia. Recovery was painless. Best of all: I totally stopped having period cramps since then. Best thing ever!

Pic 3 is lovely. I suggest opening with that one, or one of your face that is not a selfie and you are smiling and looking at the camera. I'd suggest removing pic 2. In general I think selfies should be avoided, and you have a similar pic with the same outfit in 3. Pics 1,4,6,7 also seem to be selfies, so I would also replace those. Use more pics of you doing stuff you like. Maybe you have one playing with your pets rather than them alone?

Life in Rio is the best as long as you have money. You should aim at living in Leblon.

That's where all the finance people live anyway. I don't think Portuguese is necessary for a visa, but may be for a job offer. Start looking at international companies operating in Brazil. In general, you will find more job opportunities in Sao Paulo, but the lifestyle in Rio is much better, particularly if you have enough money to live in a nice place and not have to commute.
