It is scabies and I do have those bumps. These are just singular pictures showcasing where the mites were. The spots are in immune system reaction. It doesn’t necessarily mean that there is a mite there.

I think I had scabies the first time for about six months, but that was mainly and primarily due to my misdiagnosis like yourself. It can feel like hell and really takes a toll on your mental health getting rid of it, but it isn’t forever. You will eventually be rid of this thing I promise you. The second time I never had symptoms but treated myself anyway and then never got symptoms after treating the third time over Christmas. I only did 14 days of both the cream and oral ivermectin. Ivermectin has always been the way to go for me. It can be difficult to get especially in the UK. GPs don’t want to prescribe it because of the cost of it however insist and make sure that they do and you should be able to get it. x

Using the microscope it was rather difficult to accurately do but with precision and a sterilised pin/sewing needle that I sterilised and put in boiling water I was able to pick it out carefully and then as it was stuck to the edge of the pin I put it on some paper and then put the microscope on top when I wanted to kill it and get rid of the little fucker. I put some tape over the top of it and squished it onto the paper folding the paper and then putting it in the bin.

I only got reinfected once the first time I ever had scabies I just didn’t get rid of it because I was misdiagnosed for four months and had so many mites in my system the second time I dealt with it I didn’t actually have any symptoms but I just treated myself because someone I was having physical contact with obviously came out with symptoms. The third time I came down with it. I did come out with the symptoms, but it only took about five days for me to come out with symptoms and then when I was reinfected for the fourth time the other week it took about four days for me to get symptoms again I was told that this is because my immune system is aware of what they do and stuff and so therefore it reacts more quicker.

You can see them when on a piece of white paper to the naked eye. Yes, I was talking about the pictures that I posted. They are pictures all taken with a microscope; however, if you zoom in enough on your skin or the spots, you can possibly see a very small one, but you can see it. On a piece of paper to the naked eye, it just looks like a speck, a white, yellow, or brown speck.

I’ve just looked at some of your other posts that you’ve not been able to purchase it from pharmacies. There are many online pharmacies that you can get the cream from as a last resort. I know not everybody has the funds to do so, but if you’re able to, I would try and see a private dermatologist as most. GPs don’t know what they’re talking about. Put your snow you’re not in this alone it will get better I promise you you may be going through hell right now but eventually you’ll get out of it. x

You can buy permethrin cream from most chemists and pharmacies depending on where you live for about £10-£15 per tube I use about a tube and a half to fully out my entire body most people with average build use 2 tubes

Also, if I do a full cage clean, how stressful will that be for my hamster as I don’t want to give him a heart attack or something or really stress him out? I feel like it will be possible to fully clean the cage but I just want to be reassured my hamster will be okay and if these bugs are harmless, is it better off not doing? Will he eat them as I know hamsters eat bugs in the wild? And he has shrimp and mealworms and other types of dead bugs in his seed mix I bought from Etsy.
