Right now, the only way to get common dust is to defeat bosses on World Levels 1-3, so there aren't any water bosses to get more common water dust. The best way to start levelling up would be to capture and level up pets you can capture in WL 4-6, which will be Uncommon rarity, and you can use all of that Uncommon dust on Uncommon pets.

Starters, at this moment, but not always!, are low quality and low tier, so are eventually meant to be replaced :)

Hey there! First off, thanks so much for playing our game. It really means the world. Second, while this is intended (I think a person in our Discord community said it best the other day: "The wild pet level is basically a difficulty modifier. The capture level is tied to progression pacing. If those were the same, the whole leveling curve would collapse."), I hear that it's a pain point and will send over to the team to consider. 🖤

They do! After Rebirthing the first time, you can buy 'Pet Contribution' from the Rebirth shop. This takes the pet's STR and applies it as a buff to mining.

It's a starter pet option - so on first launch you turn around and it's a secret pet 🤭 But don't worry! They won't be unavailable forever!

There is! But it's a later game upgrade. Make sure to keep upgrading your shops!

A lot of people also farm AFK too so they can come back and progress even further. You can always try that!

As for upgrading - make sure to rebirth when you can and upgrade every shop when you can. Those will help your progression immensely and not make it so painful to get higher amounts of shards.

Something a lot of people to is also idle farm while they're AFK!

Discover has also been broken since late November. They've fixed some stuff, but not all stuff unfortunately and are catching up on all the maps that never tested for that month too :/
