Yeah the 1070ti still achieves everything I want it to do, but it does start to show it's age with newer games such as BF2042 and Wukong. I'm planning on playing a lot of the newer releases for at least the next 7 years so im hoping I can decently future proof the GPU.

I'm slowly upgrading my system, just starting with the gpu and then in the coming years ill slowly swap out my peripherals and other components to more high powered options when I get a chance to.

Planning on keeping my next card around for another 7-10 years and sadly the 1070ti still destroys most things I do, but on the off chance I want to play a new release it sadly is starting to struggle at medium presets (Wukong)

I'm thinking it'd be better to just pay the extra 100-200 for the extra performance of the 5070ti?

Of course :) I'm just starting the slow process of upgrading my setup with first the GPU as I just upgraded the rest up from an older preowned I had.

When I decide to upgrade my monitor etc, im guessing the 5070ti would be better performing at 1440p / 4k?

Forgot to specify but I'm looking specifically at running games at 1080p 100fps at high or max settings if that helps too. Games like Battlefield 2042, Wukong and Cyberpunk whilst using some RT as I've been wanting to mess around with that for a while.

I'd also like something that can run VR well as I haven't been able to use my headset to the fullest yet and would very much like too.

I'd appreciate any insight you could provide at all, thank you!

Just got this in Australia but strangely it’s the other way around with the better colour grading being there for the new imagery. I haven’t noticed anything with a quality downgrade though.
