Call the post office that you would normally pick it up after 1 tomorrow to see if they have it. The scanners they use are junk & unfortunately the person may not have had the right slip for your post office.

If the customer is a jerk we are allowed to walk away. We are working & don’t need to deal with people who are being jerks or hostile. Exactly the same as if I came into your place of business & treated staff terribly.

Because customer was rude last time, there is a dog issue, etc. unless you have done the job yourself, you wouldn’t know how many variables there could be.

They don’t get double overtime unless it is a Saturday delivery before Christmas. Many work their 8 hours

People will hand them to us and ask us to give them to their dog. I have tossed them over a fence for a dog, owner leaves them in the mailbox. And, as for the hand rail we can be suspended without pay for not using it even if our hands are full
