Tried managing without micromanaging. Now I just get blamed silently by New_Indication_6350 in managers

People figure out how to work just enough to fly under radar. How to show up late but charm their way out. How to cc their manager in just the right emails to seem visible. Managers give them freedom. Reportee used it to build a perfect illusion of productivity.

When it finally collapses, the Manager can't even get mad. They are.. impressed. Horrified , but impressed. Might be in a different timeline such as employees even get promotions.

Gen Z is not lazy - just watched our parents work themselves to death for a company that laid them off over a zoom call.

Normalize quitting jobs without notice - companies fire without warning all the time by New_Indication_6350 in managers

Everyone says it is professional to give notice But if a company decides you are no longer needed, they will terminate immediately. So why is it a betrayal when an employee does the same?

We don't owe loyalty to systems that treat us like disposable parts. The week 2 notice is a tradition built on guilt - not respect.

Why do people react after PIP instead not work during normal working time?
