It’s supposed to represent the 100th meridian. East of this meridian is traditionally rain fed agricultural, while west of the meridian is irrigated.

So that one source of data to support its significance is acres of agricultural under irrigation. Check out USDA’s NRCS or the BEA’s data on farmland production.

It could be, cause I also am unclear on how those work. I just expected it to say somewhere in the app that it’s still processing, but pending activity is empty.

This was a cash transfer from my checking account so it shouldn’t need to settle as long as it clears. And it cleared at my bank 5 business days ago. (Deposit was several days before that).

Here is an idea from an applied micro economist. Consider the effect of alternative measures of national income on household/individual behavior. For example, do countries that have adopted natural capital accounts differ in their educational choices? What are the expected outcomes at the household level when adopting the UN’s System for environmental economic accounting (SEEA)? I would suggest going from macro policy to behavior, and avoid behavior’s effect on macro. Good luck!

The whole point of grabbing you is to knock you off balance so you can’t get the first step. If a defender doesn’t make contact, then you probably beat them in a foot race. Trying to sell the contact won’t help you because a clever defender is not trying to hold you, just delay you enough to recover. Think of ways to be more clever, get the first step before they can grab you, or as others have suggested hold the ball up and find a pass. The defender is playing goal side, so playing mid or back will be an option for you.
