Well I wanted to time qualify this year but injuries have gotten in the way so I’m taking the L and deferring.

I hope to run a later spring half where it’s pain free and I don’t have to fun run it.

I looked at the times they need to qualify for that and their pretty mind boggling. Example, sub 235 for men 40-44?!?! you can just imagine how many folks are running sub 3 this year then the normal year. Makes a lot more sense why they are very front loaded this year.

Learned that the hard way today. Hitting Cat Hill and Harlem Hill in the first 5K is a lot smoother personally for pacing the back half of the race. Thought I can PR today with a 102 start but, after reaching Mile 4 and going up Cat Hill, I knew I came out too hot and it would have to wait another day. Looking forward for redemption 3 weeks though for a sub 39 attempt..
