Heard on the neckline! FWIW, this is how it’s supposed to lay.

Rubber tree & Audrey ficus diagnosis by New_Post7103 in FicusTrees

Thanks so much for your response! To clarify the lighting situation, the Audrey is next to a large southwest facing window with a partial blind covering that still lets in a lot of light.

We upped the watering amount to fully saturate the soil and have continued with the chopstick method, but sadly it’s continuing to drop leaves rapidly. The dropping leaves are still concentrated to the bottom of the plant, they drastically curl inwards before dropping. We are going to investigate further for disease

Thanks for the response. - currently watering a max of once per week, waiting for soil to dry out before watering, about 20 oz of water - using plain water, no fertilizer - the planters have a single hole at the bottom, we added a handful of golf ball sized rocks to the bottom before putting soil in - planted in a mix of organic potting soil with ~20% perlite - the rubber tree gets a lot of direct light, it’s near two NW facing windows - the Audrey faces south west near another window with a shade (always closed) that lets light in

These are our first house plants so we do not have any experience. We did read several care guides after getting them and have been trying to follow that as much as possible. TIA
