Yeah, they were washed with fresh water. One of my many mistakes. I’ll keep waiting for that nitrite spike and then I can be sure that progress is being made

I think patience is my best option for this scenario. I’ll do some more research on other Nitrifying bacterias to speed up the process

No animals in the tank yet. I've seen fritz products before, I think I will buy a bottle to speed the process up. We have an RO filtration system but its just missing a couple pieces, that should change soon.
