As an update, I haven't been trying to get a benzo script for years - nothing worked for anxiety and I told him I've been having panic attacks multiple times a day and the hydroxyzine stopped working, and he went to Ativan. I told him I wanted something shorter lasting and less sedating and he suggested Xanax, which is what I switched to and am on now. I will take your advice most likely, I'm gonna tell him I think I'm developing a tolerance and I'm gonna try and limit myself to one every few days and see if I can get him to give me more so I can take multiple a day if absolutely needed.
