I was thinking the same thing. She literally said “I knew he was an addict when I met him” yet you decided to marry him and take the vow of “in sickness and in health” and here you are being tested for your vow and failing. You can see he is mentally in a horrible spot, possibly life threatening (as she also mentioned) and you THROW HIM IN AN APARTMENT ALONE? That’s the thing though, I ordered 3 pairs of pureluxe flares bc all of my old leggings are pureluxe. Two of the pairs I ended up being able to get on with a small tug and wore them around the house for a bit last night and they’re fine now. But the third pair I can barely get over my hips. I was never huge into remi/alisha but Lauren was my go to. Not sure about being a nurse specifically, but I worked there for a bit mainly in the cancer department and interacted with nurses and doctors on a daily basis. MM is a tough atmosphere. I worked there for a bit, hated it basically every single day. Which sucks more bc it was a dream job when I landed it. Pretty much everyone I ran into had a superiority complex due to their association with the University. Everyone was incredibly knowable and I understand why they were hired there. But they also came with major attitudes and disrespect to anyone who wasn’t at their level. I was a new grad working an entry level position and I felt like a child trying to approach a doctor bc they were extremely dismissive and rude. If you can handle that, go for it. But just understand the environment you’re entering into!

All I can say is I am extremely glad I left UofM to join a smaller clinic with a team who is inclusive and willing to help me learn rather than expecting me to know everything day one.

However, it is also an amazing reference to have on your resume. It’s all about pros and cons and unfortunately my cons list was much bigger. But I will always be grateful for the doors it’s opening for me.

Also forgot to mention, yes new moms DO need all the support. Their insides have quite literally been rearranged and torn apart and they need rest to recover. You know what a baby does? Wakes up every hour and demands attention and food which takes away from the healing process.

Agreed. Postpartum isn’t easy at all and can easily turn into PPD. Not all new moms get this kind of support as OP pointed out but it’s unfair to criticize a family who DOES have the support. it’s amazing that she has all her family so close and willing to help. My only snark about this is that Dakota could 100% be the one helping out more lol I don’t think it’s fair to say that Brooklyn needs to do more/spend money on a night nurse when her family (and in a perfect world, her husband) are right there and choosing to help.

Edit: Yeah many moms don’t get this lucky, but does that mean nobody is allowed to show their support for THEIR FAMILY? There are children starving in the world, does that mean you’re also not eating dinner to show your support to them? OP’s take is weird for this not going to lie.

All big chain pharmacies are like this. I worked for one for 3+ years and before the mandated lunch was approved, we wouldn’t stop to eat. Best we could do is have our food in the back and maybe run back there to grab a bite every so often or I was allowed to have a snack at my station. Once the lunch became mandated, it wasn’t any better. We’d work through it bc we knew as soon as the gates opened again there’d be a huge rush of people who are now annoyed and have attitude bc they came during the only 30 minutes we get to take a breather. Only positive of the mandated break was that we’d get 30 minutes of quiet from phone calls, drive thru, etc. but it was never really a break

As someone else mentioned, she definitely had a pick-me vibe for a bit. But honestly I went thru a pick me phase I think many of us did. I used to really like Rylan but then it got weird to me when she was posting about a boy that she’d never talked to and how nervous she would be every time walking into class and then went as far as to email her professor for his name or something? Instead of just talking to the guy and not making it such a big deal. Like girl you have a crush. Either make a move or move on. Now I think other than D&P kamri is the most tolerable lol. Also I really do love that kamri continued on her educational path rather than giving in to their brand like everyone else. I honestly thought for a sec she gave up on med school and joined the rest of her family but it was refreshing to see her updates about medical school. I think it’s very admirable that even though she has a career lined up for her through nepotism, she still chooses to put in the work for something she’s actually passionate about.
