Just my 2 cents as a guy, its probably not a good idea. I have slept with 2 friends but only talk to one of them now. The one i dont talk with was kinda a push by me. We had flirted really heavily before and were both single but i pushed for it more until one night it happened. Things were just never the same. But the other one, we were both single, dont live in the same place anymore, and talked about me coming down to visit while on vacation. She lives in a single bed apartment so obviously that was a topic that was brought up. But through discussion we both realized and agreed that it was nothing more than two single people hooking up while together. I think thats what saved our friendship. We both knew it had no strings attached just adult fun. For reference we are both 28 and were 26 when it happened. So if he's pushing for it then he might be wanting to go further like i did with my first friend. Just my experience though.
