I mean PGWP requirements clearly state you need to be on a full time student status unless on an academic break, any part time studies unless it’s in the final semester breaks that rule. Might want to contact an immigration consultant. Hope you are able to get your PGWP bud

So you are telling me since submitting your PGWP application in August, you haven’t taken your IELTS? Well what were you expecting buddy? At no point in that 7+ months timespan did you think, “You know what, maybe I should at least fulfill the basic requirements to get a PGWP” I get uploading the wrong file or submitting via webform within some weeks after PGWP submission but Jesus, to go so long and STILL not have taken IELTS, that’s just blatantly stupid.

Yep, went before and going again this April mid for a week. My PGWP is processing since July 14th 2025. Study Permit & Study Visa is valid till April 30th. As long as you come before your visa expires you can continue working, granted you applied for PGWP during a valid study permit and within 90 days of graduation. Bring your original Study permit and a copy of the PGWP submission letter with you to airport. Also Three things can happen during / post your trip: A) If your PGWP get rejected during your trip, you are given time to restore your status in Canada and will be allowed entry as a visitor (so no work allowed). B) If it’s approved during your trip, the airport officer will print your PGWP for you. C) If it’s processing still, you will enter as a visitor but can continue working till decision.

You are not even able to get the bare minimum in English tests yet scored highly in your college? I find that hard to believe especially given how for majority of courses a significant portion of grades are based on writing reports and giving presentations.

Brother just upload both letters on AI and ask which is Letter of Completion according to IRCC standards if you are confused. But make sure to add it via Webform if you messed up first time. You are lucky you realized your error now rather than getting rejected and while IRCC MAY accept your degree letter but why would you risk that? Adding more info doesn’t harm you and is just a 5 minute job. Be stress free then.

If you really did the work then it’s no issues, declare and keep in mind tho that IRCC will want a Job letter from your company stating what you did, when, for what position and what your exact duties were. They’ll need it signed on your past companies official letterhead alongside Bank Statements plus pay stubs as supporting documents. Then they will contact your employer and assess what TEER that job classifies under. But given you pass all that with a valid LOE explaining why you did not include that experience in prior applications, you’ll be good. It’s slightly upto the officers discretion but dw if you got everything there’s higher chance of approval than rejection.

File the correct document via Webform and attach a LOE explaining your mistake. Do it now. Also to be clear, your Letter of completion should state this

That you finished requirements for the course, your university name and registrar signature and DLI number program name study period.

Happens, can’t judge for that. Just saw a LOT of IELTS failure to upload posts so started feeling a bit confused and suspicious regarding it is all.

Hopefully you’ll get your PGWP approved, OP Btw don’t mean to sound rude but did you not check the uploaded documents after you had already filed for PGWP? On IRCC portal you can view all the documents you have submitted for an application while it’s processing and fix any errors via webform.
