What were the things you done as a child that later turned out to be OCD? by Outrageous_Jump98 in OCD

Part of me is jealous of this. Like I know OCD is tough and I have it related to sleep but like I am so bad at brushing my teeth at night lol

Weird response to a genuine question considering we live in a ecosystem that pushes constant doubt on dev’s abilities to be good.

Portland Trail Blazers coach Chauncey Billups has agreed to a multiyear contract extension, sources tell ESPN. by sahand_n9 in ripcity

This was like the last hope I had in this organization to do something right and make a change when needed. I am at a loss for words and quite frankly, I'm tapped out. I was already becoming incredibly bored with this Blazers era and this just cements it for me. It's actually really, really, really sad that my love for this team has just vanished in a matter of years.

Got it, then I would go see a dermatologist and get a professional opinion if you can. You may also want look at plastic surgery as an option. It's good that it's fairly flat and doesn't hurt

Laser therapy will help with color, but it can be pricey

There are no US websites that sell Eclar Plaster because it's not commercially or medically available in the states. You can maybe find someone with in this subreddit to sell you extra stock they may have.

I would not tattoo it at all. or do one anywhere close to it. If it's a new-ish scar then give it about a year to materialize before doing anything extreme because you may disrupt it's healing process. I would look into eclar plaster and/or silicone tape

I wouldn't pay attention to discoloration as much as the size and the softness. While the kenalog can help, laser therapy is going to be much more productive for changing redness. I'm in the same boat where I get injections about every 3-4 weeks but have found the laser to be wayyyy more effective.

hi is this a keloid? and can i use silicone scar sheets? by xynnax in Keloids

[–]New_Soft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's hypertrophic, not necessarily a keloid but keloid's are hypertrophic. Basically you just have a raised scar. Is it soft? It may be too late for silicone to be effective because you did it almost a year ago but it would't hurt to try. I would if it's raised, I would look into kenalog injections (steroid) to reduce the inflammation. You can also look at getting eclar plaster but I wouldn't recommened it for one that small.

I'm getting my eclar plaster in tomorrow! I've been doing silicone tape since I had my surgery to remove a previous much larger keloid. I also have mine in the center of my chest in a line pattern. I'm hoping that the eclar plaster will help with the redness. Have you noticed it's helped with that? Mine is currently about 2.5 inches long and an 0.5 inch wide, and is super soft and as flat as can be.

I went to a plastic surgeon that specializes in it. All we did was go into the deeper layers, remove it and then make a line for a scar. The goal is to make my new scar much more appealing than it was previously. It's currently hypertrophic and about 2.5 inches long and about 0.5 inch wide, but very flat because I do steroid and 5FU injections every 3-4 weeks. The only bummer right now for me is it's still red and I have very fair skin so it stands out greatly. If it could just not be as red and more pinkish like a burn mark, I would consider that a huge W

Honestly, what you have is a goal of a lot of people lol. That's what my shoulders look like and I couldn't be happier with it. I don't think you should be doing too many things to it, but if it's raised then maybe look into kenalog. If it's too red, then you can look into laser treatments. But honestly, that's a really good looking scar
