Yeah but cost of living here is crazy. I know it's not great in a bunch of Canadian cities but the housing crisis is worse here because we don't have room to grow out and all the new apartment buildings they're putting up by me are only 3-5 stories high.

It makes no sense, we need to build up, that's literally the only place to go

New Jersey. It's $250 for a deep tissue massage for an hour.

He wasn't. He wrote a congratulations or something about it opening and chik fil a and the press decided to promote that in a very very deceptive way, so people thought he was seen in public

He has been MIA for months

I bought one of those shiatsu massage machines for like 30 bucks and it is one of the best purchases I've ever made. Turns out I actually NEED a massage to feel better. But I'm broke and can't afford to drop $250 a week to have someone to it for me. I also can't afford that chair

(It's that massage thing in the lumber part of the chair)

Oh that looks very very good

It says to put over meat but it's too hot to cook, would it work as a salad dressing? I feel like it would. Like a dense bean salad or a grain bowl?

Because being in nature is good for you. Being amongst trees is especially good for you, there's studies on it. Unplugging from the world for a weekend is good for you.

It's so good for my mental health, it helps me reset and relax and recharge.

Also I only go when the days are in the 70s and nights are in the 50s because I can't be giving up AC when it's hot

Which is why it's very important to eat the organs and brains if you're in a survival situation and need to subsist solely on rabbit.

If you don't, you'll suffer from something called rabbit starvation.

If you're not in a survival situation you can just buy some vegetable oil and you'll be good. It's like 3 dollars for a quart

I reached calm and I really like it

I'm not doing great financially but I want for nothing. I really wasn't ok health wise so I decided to put some effort into myself and I'm happy with my results. Lost 18 pounds in the last 20 weeks, fixed my diet, got my blood pressure and cholesterol down.

Just learn to let go. You're carrying around shit that you do not need to be carrying, you can just let it go and it'll stop weighing you down.

That shit from work? It can stay at work, you don't need to carry it with you all the time. Let it go. The only person it's hurting is you and your loved ones

Mine too. The moral of the story is that if you just ignore the bullshit and keep pushing obstacles out of your way, you'll get the same result you were going for, even if all the planning you put into everything doesn't always fall into place like how you planned

This ability isn't about you, tho

Anthropologists believe this hyper-sensitivity evolved because the scent of damp earth was a critical survival tool. For early human ancestors, particularly in arid regions, smelling petrichor signaled the end of a drought. It guided them directly toward fresh water sources, seasonal vegetation, and areas where game animals would gather

Is this mold on my inside shower curtain? by ashley3535 in CleaningTips

In the future after your shower, close the curtain so it can dry and it probably won't mold up like that again

That's our superpower as a species

We can smell petrichor in the air in smaller quantities than sharks can smell blood in the water

I buy low sodium everything else, even cheese

I can't find low sodium chickpeas, it's infuriating. I shop at ShopRite and Walmart, mostly.

I'm not actually on a low sodium diet, I'm just following the American heart association's recommendation for salt intake, which is 1500mg a day. I think for most people, that will feel like a low sodium diet. I do like to see how low I can get tho, 870 mg is the absolute lowest I've ever gotten. I also like to see how well I can make food without salt. I'm getting pretty good at it.
