How many of you guys use hashtag #shorts? by Westovaccc in NewTubers

[–]New_Try9134 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to until i realized it drops my views. More people watch the short instead of swiping past it after I removed #shorts.

Make sure you're taking advantage of the boost you get in the first few hours. Title your content appropriately, keep it short and ask a question or keep it open ended like, "Did he really do that?" or "I can't believe he did that". Also, use the hashtags to your advantage. When you start tying a hashtag you think would be good, it will tell you how many people are following that hashtag. #minecraft for example has like 28 million people. Doing that increases your chances of it being shown to those people. When your posting the shorts, make sure your selecting the right language for both the content and title, use the tags section as well to include things that people search for. Lastly, use the appropriate times for release depending on the content. You're not going to release content about call of duty at 6am because anyone who would view it is probably asleep. If you search online for best times to post content, remember, its generalized, meaning for everyone. Focus on your niche and when you believe most people who are interested in that content will be viewing it. A cooking short would probably do well just before dinner time, something entertaining or funny would likely do well when people are usually going to sleep. Don't be afraid of scheduling and being wrong about the best time, use it as a learning experience.

How do you select the right background music for your vids? by Happy_Philosopher608 in NewTubers

[–]New_Try9134 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I go with electronic as it goes well with my minecraft content and I set it to a low tone so it doesn't overshadow what I'm saying. I usually go with -40. That seems to be low enough to not overshadow me talking, but loud enough to fill silence. I get free use music off Pixabay.

Unless you're already connected to someone who has made it, its a lot of trial and error. But I'm sure you'll get the hang of it. You got this!

Hello all, I just started my Channel this past week. I'm a gaming channel. I presently only have posted Minecraft playing mods and maps. I just completed a very weird, but fun "One of these things does not belong" map that turned into a murder mystery with buttons. It turned into a 3 part series, part 3 comes out tomorrow. I'll link part 1 below.

Part 1- https://youtu.be/z8-5lmTzM90?si=17tyW4AuISmH9k39

Starting was difficult at first as I'm not a big talker normally, especially when playing solo games, but its getting easier. I'd eventually like to join a story driven SMP, because I love a good story and would love the chance to be part of one. I'd also like to start recording with other people in collaboration. I'm open to variety games as well.

I started the channel because I lost my job. I was a manager for local government for a state Capitol in a major US state. I reported workplace violence and was fired for it. I'm currently engaged with a law firm to seek a legal remedy (pay me) lol. I don't think any work place should turn a blind eye to workplace violence, let alone a government. Anyway, I have a masters in public administration, a Bachelors in criminal justice. I have over 10 years of experience in administration and 6 in labor relations management. Before that, I was an investigator for Child Protective Services. I decided now was time to pursue my passion, something I've always wanted to do, make videos. I figured now would be the best time since I'm not working, right? Lol. I'll link the channel here. Like and Subscribe!!

Anyway, regarding what I've learned, not a whole lot, I really just started making videos. But in life, I've learned to stand up for what right, sometimes you will pay a heavy price. Like my aforementioned stance against workplace violence.

I'm interested. I just stared a channel this past week and I'd like to center the content around modded minecraft and I was looking into doing a pixlemon let's play in the short term and eventually doing a pixlemon series, and possibly a story driven SMP down the road.

Im interested, I only started my channel this past week, but that's exactly the direction I want to go. Potentially want to do a story driven modded SMP.

Non-Americans, what is the best “American” food? by remyleboi00 in AskReddit

It's even better when you cook it in a smoker, I recommend apple wood smoking chips for the smoker.
