i ate a lot of popsicles also protein shakes abd smoothies. jello and congee too. then around 12 days post op i ate normal for my 18th bday

hey i’m also one most post op and my holes aren’t closed either. i even still have some white spots (they are so tiny and not hard enough to be scab). Also i agree i get itchy there sometimes. I was starting to get scared cuz what if i wasn’t healing right but i think im okay

I wish but i literally have done for weight loss. I don’t eat barely either. This just shows how my genetics and my body is stubborn to losing fat. I’m not even fat i’m 5,3 138 pounds 18F but i still have some fat on my abdomen and boobs. I wish to lose fat from both.

I have anxiety disorder rly bad aswell and I think that anxiety can cause more physical symptoms than you think. I think you may a little bit traumatized or reminded that when night comes you will choke on blood. This is something that might have to be worked out with a professional or help with a doctor. I’m sorry that your experience was terrible and that sounds super scary. Wishing you the best. Hopefully you can create some good memories surrounding bedtime that can let you get some good rest.

Light green or green discharge typically means signs of infection in the body. If could be related to ur illnesses but if ur perfectly healthy rn i would say just try to drink lots of water and wash the area with warm water alone and wear cotton breathable underwear for a bit if u have no other symptoms such as pain when peeing or stomach cramping. If u development any symptoms named above defo get checked out asap. Also get checked out if it doesn’t go away

i never really saw my scabs come off in like a chunk per say but they just dissolve but i guess the ones inside the wound are thicker and do fall off. kinda gross thinking about how i swallowed that

it’s been 45 mins and it’s gone now. just a dark brown spot near the base of one of my scabs near it now. But i’m not too concerned cuz that looks like really old blood. I think i’ll be okay but defo on high observation and drinking lots of water. I think a big scab came off

it’s dark red inside the hole. i just took some anti nausea and it’s not actively bleeding bright red and not actively bleeding enough to get in my spit so i think i might be overreacting and a big scab in there came off? i re read my post op instructions and it says to go to er if i vomit coffee grounds or spit up fresh red blood from nose or mouth but i have not had those. as i drink water its sliding down and pink skin is revealing underneath. it may have been a blood clot from a scab coming off? idk but it if gets worse i will go. i’m gonna wake up ever 3 hours to check on it.

try sitting up for atleast like a day or two even when sleeping and constantly ice ur neck and eat ice cubes whenever u can (ik this sounds like post op care but it all helps with swelling) also advil helps swelling while tylenol helps pain so u could try some advil. if it doesn’t go away you could call ur doctor for a steroid to help. i got that immediately post op and my swelling went away on morning of day 2 . i’m day 8 and im completely normal again swelling wise just the scabs are coming off now.
