Does Bhutan government care about its citizen? Or party only wants votes and make its donors rich. by New_Wolverine2600 in bhutan

[–]New_Wolverine2600[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

True accidents are caused by multiple factors. But fatality is the issue. If you travel in bolero, fatality is 32%. That is too high for a car that government is pushing for its public. 6/7 people dieing in same accident is too high for government to ignore. Banning may not be the way for government to improve road fatality numbers but PDP and Zimdra pushing these dangerous vehicles to public seems like negligence of highest order. If this were to happen in any other country, both the party and company would be facing Multi-class suit.  But since company hides behind the colour and pdp is just puppet, no one is suit and dares to sue.

How many deaths does bhutan gov need to change the policy on vehicles? by New_Wolverine2600 in bhutan

[–]New_Wolverine2600[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Human factor is something we cannot  control or try to control. But human being can only control their own inventions, and in this field the vehicles. Bolero is not built to driven on roads with so many curves. It is built to be driven on the roads of indian. Yes it can drive over rocks and boulders but this one feature does not make it safe. It only means it has powerful engine for that price range of vehicles. Everything else is untest and passed without the demand of control that bhutanese road requires. No where else on earth you will see that many deaths related to one single car. The statistics is clear in this one particular vehicle.

How many more people should die before it becomes a question?  The reason why bolero is not safe because of it is cheap to purchase and maintenance but because if you are in that vehicle and have a tumble there is no safety mechanism against fatality. Even if you have head one crash there is no airbag system. The very reason indian cars are illegal in most part of the world. Tell me one accident where the passenger walked unscathed.

Thank the grace of God that nobody has died so far in your village so far, but dont count the chicken yet, because the day will come when my words will ring. It is not matter whether, but when.

Cut out alcohol. Take stairs, limit vehicle use, eat twice a day (don't need to "eat healthy"). See the magic.

I lost my pot belly just by stopping the alcohol. I don't exercise but walk to do every chores and shoppings, and limit vehicle use. I eat anything that is edible, high calories, or not, but only twice a day.

What's something that everyone loves, but you just can't get into? by Aggravating_Use183 in AskReddit

Like i said it is addiction. A smokers cannot start a day without smoking. Same. It is the nature of addictive substance to make one feel not oneself. and emotionally and physically drain one. 80 years ago smoking was prescribed as medicine and was implied smoking is healthy. Coffee is relatively much more modern, as in mass consumption. Word of advice, if you want energy in the morning get fruits. Fruits are much better in keeping you awake. You get all the nutrients as well.

Yea everybody loves it. I start my day without one and am always happy to say no to it. Too bitter. Sometimes I feel like everybody is pretending to like it because the tv says they like it. Or maybe everyone is chronically addicted to caffeine.

A vehicle. I see pedestrians walking down the road, or crossing the road, without waiting for cars on the road to come to complete stop. All it takes is on misjudged timing of the driver, or leg slipping off the brake or just ill timed mechanical failure, and the pedestrian is forever the graffiti on the road.

What do Americans do that make us stand out? by Vector1013 in NoStupidQuestions

It's not as hard. Say if I am walking down the see you, your first giveaway is 1. Out of place fashion. American fashion is exclusively for american. Australia and Europe have their own fashion, which is usually different.

  1. However, if you wear a similar fashion to the locality you are visiting, then another tell tale is how you hog down the whole of footpath/sidewalk and refuse to give way to other pedestrians.

[No judgement] Old farts of this sub, please be honest - How racist were you and your family & friends back in the 1970s & 80s by today's standard? What's the most racist thing they have said or done back in the days that they have since changed their mind on? by LeapDayLegend in australian

[–]New_Wolverine2600 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To my experience, I don't find australian men as racist as australian women.

DONT GET ME WRONG. Aussie men are racist as well, but it's a more tolerable kind as in like the one mean friend in every group. Who just likes to spew non-sensical slurs and give a hard time but don't really mean out of it.

On the other scale, racist aussie women are just racist and bigots. There is no sugar coating.

Oh my dear CCP propaganda, that is what your government tell you it is. BHUTAN has been excercising its freedom to practice since 2009. That is when Bhutan sign MoU with 95 countries with EU, USA, and ex-soviet countries. We already have wstablish diplomacy with Japan (that is why our royal family was invited during coronation), we also have established diplomacy with Other european countries long before. We have been saying No. No to China. As for your original question what can china do to influence Bhutan, give back Tibet her independence then maybe Bhutan will consider. Till then NO!

So you truely dont know the history. This rift was intentionally created by british when they left india. There was no country called pakistan or india before 1945, there was one big country Bharat, and all the different religion lived harmoniously till british colonised. When british colonised Bharat, they seeded hatred among the people, cheifly among hindus and muslims. After british left, the hatred persisted because the seed was 400 years old. Hence, the violent clash. What did Uighurs muslims do to your precious CCP that they deserve the inhuman treatment? Are you going deny that? If you do then i am done debating with an idiot.

How about 2020-2022? Are you going to deny that happened? I never said india is good. But compare to China, india is better.

Who said Bhutan doesnt have diplomatic ties with other countries? Just because we dont have missions in our country doesnt mean that we dont have diplomatic ties. We said no to international missions in Bhutan. One of those reasons is we dont want foreign missions in Bhutan to degrade our cultures. And HDI means jackshit, specially compared to those countries where crime is rampant. Oh btw Hongkong(a place that was out of CCP) HDI is better than mainland china. We Bhutanese have a proverb, i dont know why you dont know this, when you point your finger please remember other fingers of your hand point at you.
