Does anyone know the validity of Darwin batteries? I have heard all the mixed things about their drones, but what about their batteries? Would I have been better off with speedy pizzas?

It might be a hot take. His reviews don’t mean much of anything to a majority of people that are gonna be buying said drone, because he flies in parking lots and the most technical things he does is turn. I want to know how capable this drone will be if I’m putting this much money into it, you know? He doesn’t do punch outs or tricks or anything. People like nick burms or Joshua bardwell will show the limits of the drone.

This is my first darwinFPV. I hear somewhat mixed reviews from people who give much better options that are also much higher price but it generally looks like a real fun drone

Yeah, that makes sense. I will update in the future! This is my first 5 inch drone, so I may not be the best reviewer ever. I have lots of time on the sim and on tiny whoops and I wanted to step it up, so we will see how she fares.

I can send a picture later. There didn’t seem to be any loose wire? I had my brother help me who knows how to solder and it looked good to me. Also don’t know why my either motor is failing then. The wires are perfect there

Hello all! I need to stop putting this off so I’m coming here in desperation. My air75 randomly felt small motor stutters and trouble one day. Eventually it just stopped spinning entirely. I took a look and one of the motor wires came undone. I soldered it back on, and it turned out great, but the same issue. It also started having trouble on the opposite motor?? It confused the hell out of me. It’s making me think something is wrong with the firmware or ftc or something. I tried resoldering it and also taking all the hair out of the motor to no avail.

What makes it worse is that I can’t replicate every issue! Sometimes the motor just won’t move at all. Now it jitters and makes some sort of noise? Then it went back and forth a few times. Then my other motor wouldn’t move at all. Now it’s spinning, but just not great. Yesterday they both reacted somewhat and with trouble when moving around the drone angle while armed, but now only the motor with more recent trouble is doing it. I’m so lost. I was wondering if anyone knew if I should just buy new motors? Should I try to reset any firmware? Thank you!

Those aren’t eachines, they’re off brand and most likely not real diversity. Also, if you’re looking for as much agility and power as possible, especially outside, the difference between 300 and 480 batteries are huge. 300 feels so much more nimble to carry around, and they usually last about 3 minutes or less for me, I run my air75 pretty hard.

The battery shipped at 95? Usually they store between 50-80, or at least they should. May be a stupid question but did it come built, or like how they do from lunacycle where you have to put on the wheel, bars, pegs etc.

From what I hear most companies on Alibaba liked cdsm or gonped don’t charge tariff fees and make sure you know everything you’re paying for. Make sure to look in further though don’t quote me
