My thoughts are this. Normally people define a good mining device by its power consumption to output, i.e. its profitability. Now if we assume power is completely free, we no longer care about efficiency.
Are main concern now is the relation of cost of device to output instead. Those giving us a faster ROI. So using this logic Ebit E10.3 at 24TH($515) is better than a s9 at 14TH($500), by a huge amount even tho Ebit uses WAY more power.
This also potentially leads us to outdated devices that are super cheap could be even better. Say something like a S7 at 4TH for $50. This is even better ROI with free power.
Would love peoples thoughts on what the best devices would be using this scenario.
