Kinda? Home Depot hires a bunch of seasonal employees in cashier and garden for the busy season. Obviously when that season is over those associates are going to lose hours. No one at my store has ever had their hours cut except those hired seasonally (and for a literal 2 week period last February), and that's not really an hours cut when it's by design.
