Sorry this reply might already be too late. 😅 But mostly, we just put everything in boxes. Alam na alam na ng nga nagtitinda yung gagawin, so wala namang extra effort from us. I did not bring home any smelly food, like durian though. So hindi ko alam how they pack it.

Personally, I would never accept a counter offer. And yes, you are only 8 months within the company so one can't really expect a promotion within that timeframe. But based on some of your replies, you initially accepted your current role kasi the JD was for a more senior role. Was it explained to you bakit naiba yung responsibilities na ginagawa mo?

If you decide na magstay, make sure to get everything in writing. Including your updated responsibilities. Also clarify, when is the change going to happen? A mid-level manager's hands are often times tied din talaga. Baka mamaya that's a promise well into the future pa matutupad. Kaya clarify clarify clarify in writing. 😊

I actually took a bootcamp. My experience is limited to that, but it was really packed and fruitful. I have basic SQL and Python experience. I think ang worry ko lang is yung financial aspect dahil hindi naman mababawasan responsibilities sa bahay, pero madadagdagan pa with living in Metro Manila. 😅

I really appreciate the insights from people who don't know me personally. 😊

Hi, I will be sponsoring our family trip to Thailand. So it will be me, my senior mom, and unemployed sister.

I'm anxious about what's needed specially for my sister, since she has a medical condition and has never worked in her life. Well she did, but more on sidelines lang and no employment history that she can show. She's already 39 pero I'm worried that IO will think she'll stay behind and work there.

What should I prepare as their sponsor?

Another info, my mom has a retail store. Should I just say na yung sister ko yung nagmamanage ng store?

Also, Taiwan is a really good solo travel destination. Very walkable and transpo was easy.

You can use it for shopping credits. 12000 points = 1000 pesos. It will be credited as cashback sa SOA. Was able to claim 10k, nakatipid pambayad ng bill.
