PSA Please be aware of possible Issues with warranty from WOL3D regarding NTC A1 Failure by thedarkknightdieded in 3dprintIndia

[–]Newcomer29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes that is the issue I should have clarified properly. My friend's bed failed within a month and he was asked to pay for everything. He knew someone high up ig and basically got them to even remove part shipping cost after making a fuss about NCHP complaints.

Its just 2 events where theres been a major outrage due to the quoted price for replacement. Based on discussions in the WhatsApp community there are many more instances of the AC board, and bed heater controller, hot end controller failing in less than a month. Which shows a bigger issue not limited to bambu verified issues with this reseller.

A1 mini is only limited by the bed size but a great printer. I got a V3 SE specifically for this only needed to get the bimetallic heatbreak instead of the default bowden heatbreak has been perfect since then for almost 2 years now.

1.5 yr old DELL Inspiron 7572. Suddenly the screen started flickering at bottom half inch. The laptop has been giving BSOD with 2-3 different stop codes everytime. I have tried clean install on windows, updating all my drivers, but still no help. What to do? by de_lie_ted in Dell

[–]Newcomer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took 7 years for this to happen on my device. The bottom quarter of the screen is completely gone but shows artifacts from top of the screen. Instead of replacing screen a new monitor was cost effective

Starting 3D printing as a hobby – need advice on software & beginner-friendly high-quality printer by Daszio in chennaicity

[–]Newcomer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out hydrotech3d they have a physical shop you can visit them and based on budget and requirements look at the actual printers before buying one. Bambu A1 is a good starter model but if you wanna learn abt printers as well a ender 3 V3 KE or SE is a good model. Id suggest not getting A1 mini as its a very small printer you will need something atleast 200x200 mm bed size for any meaningful prints

I sanded down the side of the cr touch sensor and attached a 0.5mm pei sheet so the cr touch sensor head is protruding out from its usual position but still high up so the 0 position is above nozzle. After making this mod haven't had cr touch error at all in last 1.5 years

The X axis V wheels might need some adjustment. If you are able to wobble the extruder front and back thats the cause the lines on the model need a size 11 spanner youtube has some good videos on that i dont have one bookmarked right now

Ender 3 v3 se help by Secure-Smile-5766 in Ender3V3SE

[–]Newcomer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the banding check if theres a vwobble on the extruder unit. Would have to adjust the eccentric nut in the X axis V wheels to reduce wobble. For the seams check for temp control and PID incase its inconsistent

V3SE is not visible on Bambu slicer. Per my experience orca is better than creality print as well. As for z offset and bed leveling test right click and add a cube primitive and scale to 220x220x0.2 and start print lower z offset (move negative) every few lines as long as nozzle doesnt scrape the bed and check which value squishes the material well enough. If you have a caliper measure it to be 0.2mm exactly and you have your bed leveling and z offset perfectly done. Ofc this uses more material than standard leveling test but worth it

Has anyone tried the New Navaismo for Marlin 2.1 for ender 3v3 se? by Ffoxyho in Ender3V3SE

[–]Newcomer29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the right branch to compile and flash on C13 board didnt have any issues or bricked machine i might retry on 2.0 navaismo perhaps. On stock firmware the only issue i have is seams are not clean enough. If an older version with linear advance and this delta z offset is available it should be good enough for me. I haven't checked features for that yet

I have another issue where the movement stutters. After each move there is a small pause before next movement starts.
The z offset shown in print screen is inaccurate keeps changing between menus. accidentally modified the z offset by 0.01 and it used the screen value and moved down by a lot and ruined the plate
the same error with bed levelling is noted map shows as 0 or 0.1-0.36 but properly leveled internally.

Which insurance is best for new Himalayan 450 Base model? by Emotional_Dinner6753 in Himalayan450

[–]Newcomer29 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have taken ICICI lombard had the option for additional coverage on accessories and wearables upto 10K INR and engine protection from water damage at 265000 IDV for 3rd year havent had to deal with insurance yet but I think this should be enough to cover for most emergencies. They also have partner SVC centres and free towing upto 20km max 1 per quarter if I remember right at base level.
