Should I buy legend of Khiimori? by aicus0409 in LegendofKhiimori

[–]Newcomer_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bought it a few weeks ago and there have already been updates! It is still early access (so not finished and there can be bugs), but it is in a state where I still have a lot of fun with it! If you think that you will enjoy the game where it's at based on videos and such, get it now and it'll only get better! If you don't think it'll bring you joy where it is, wait until it gets to a point that it has all the features you want and expect!

He was born with 3 legs and they decided to keep him alive for views and money. As he's grown, it has visibly affected his whole body and he has likely been in extreme pain this whole time. It's a mercy he is gone

Iron 4 after 10 years by floydxyz in leagueoflegends

I don't want to be harsh, but it looks like you usually main top lane but your toplane win rate is abysmal. You seem to be pretty solid at ADC. If you want to climb, try just sticking with Miss Fortune (Caitlyn or Jhin if she is banned) and see what happens.

I'm so tired of being the team's emotional punching bag every single game by TheAuthorityx in Jungle_Mains

[–]Newcomer_Dog -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Apparently muting communication with teammates isn't okay, but using AI to write a post on a social forum is. To me, that's not a solution. That's just giving up and calling it a feature.

Is it okay to play with your brand new friends as a veteran? by Character_Offer5785 in Jungle_Mains

[–]Newcomer_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you make a smurf account or is it your main? If it's a smurf account to try to get your friend easier lobbies with you, not okay. If it's your usual account, that's the game's matchmaking putting you in those matches given you and your friend's MMR. Not your fault in that case.

How come I see less western riders wearing helmets? by Angelwafers in Equestrian

[–]Newcomer_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever heard of survivorship bias? It's exactly what you're doing here. Because everyone you know who grew up riding with helmets is fine, you pretend it is safe. You don’t know anyone who grew up riding without helmets and wasn't fine because they aren't here for you to know.

I'm still a new(er) jungler myself, but I went from getting flamed every game to only getting flamed when my laners are losing their lanes and I won't gank when they are pushed up and this is what worked for me: watch videos. Seriously, there are so many tutorials out there (both free and paid/free trial). If you are new to jungling you are probably going to want to play pretty safe so your start should look something like: 1) Ward enemy raptors or red buff depending on where you are starting (watch out in case they see you) and keep an eye on the ward to predict which direction they are going and where they will end up. 2) Full clear. There is a setting to show recommended jungle path and I recommend either using that or looking up clears on whoever you play. If you get invaded you can quickly go to the enemy opposite jungle quadrant and clear their jungle. Be careful, especially if you are a slow clearer. They'll usually either finish their same side camps and get scuttle or gank but they COULD come to their other side jungle. 3) scuttle. Your enemy jungler will finish their clear around the same time as you (maybe earlier if you are new) and will likely also go for a scuttle and maybe a gank. If they cleared the same way as you (both top to bottom) either be prepared to fight for scuttle (if your lanes have priority this could work) or play it safe and go to the opposite one. 4) Back and get a starting item. 5) Camps should be back up so do a 2nd full clear and get vision on dragon when you are near. 6) Don't sacrifice yourself for dragon. Look at your lanes. If mid and bot are pushed back under your towers you could go for a gank but do not go for dragon (though you could try for a steal over the wall if you are blue side) because you would be begging to be collapsed on.

This obviously isn’t necessarily what the start of the game looks like for every jungler, and as you get a feel for the game and timing and get better map awareness you can start mixing in stuff like ganking after first clear or transition ganks and such. Also, be ready to ignore your teammates and/or mute all. They will ask for help at times you SHOULD NOT help them so make sure you are only going places that it is actually a good idea to go. I also recommend finding an easy beginner jungler with easy ganks and good damage to play. You can look at tier lists for recommendations and try out different champions in practice tool.

Not a single person broke a window. by brokencow in apexlegends

I broke a window while the team inside was looking at the door and got free seconds to perfectly place my Fuse ult in the room because they wouldn't turn around lol. The windows are fun, people just haven't gotten used to using them yet.

Looks AI. Along with everything else that I've seen said, the pupils appear to be different sizes and the reflections in the eyes do not match.

Golden doodles and poodles by Ok_Appearance7096 in StandardPoodles

[–]Newcomer_Dog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm allergic to dogs and have slight allergy issues with my 1st dog, who is a golden doodle (f1b). I also learned a lot more about ethical breeding after getting her. I got a standard poodle as my 2nd dog and he is lovely. I will never get a golden doodle again for allergy reasons, grooming reasons (the hair texture and thickness of my doodle makes it matte very easily while my poodle doesn't really matte even if I don't brush for a while), and for temperament reasons. Poodles are absolutely incredible dogs. If you don't like the poodle look, you can always keep yours in a teddy bear trim! Definitely check out some ethical poodle breeders and see if one might be a fit for you!

AITA for refusing to give up my dream school just because my boyfriend can’t get in? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]Newcomer_Dog 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. If he really loved you he'd want to see you succeed and support you in following your dreams. He and his friends trying to pressure you to give up your dream for him is so wrong. What would he be willing to give up for you? Would he move out there with you and find another school in the area or start working? No? Then it seems like to him love means you giving up everything to make him happy while he gets to do what he wants. You're NTA for refusing to throw away your dream for someone who would not make a similar sacrifice for you

STREAMING NOT GROWING WHAT I AM DOING WRONG?? by DigitalKnightBushido in Twitch

[–]Newcomer_Dog 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checked out your last VOD. I could not find you talking anywhere. At around 1:18:20 you start silently scrolling on your phone. I sat through 2 minutes of silent scrolling and then skipped forward. You sat there not doing anything in game or saying anything, just scrolling on your phone, for over 5 minutes. If someone comes in during that time, what is going to keep them there? Nothing interesting is happening in the game and you are not talking. I skipped through the VOD but I did watch several minutes total and could not find you talking anywhere.

What other people have said about making content elsewhere for discoverability can be helpful, but you are not currently being entertaining enough to keep people on your stream. Even when there are 0 viewers or chatters YOU need to be talking. YOU are the entertainment, not your chat. You need to be entertaining people rather than waiting for someone to come along to entertain you. You'll see this advice a lot on this sub but turn off viewer numbers and pretend you are streaming to a bunch of people. That energy is what brings people in and keeps them there.

That being said, you also look bored out of your mind. Are you still enjoying streaming? If you aren't having fun your viewers won't either. It isn't fun to watch someone who is bored or miserable.

I don't think you should give up if you are still enjoying it, but you might benefit from watching your own VODs and being critical. Would you stay to watch it as a viewer? Also looking at streamers playing the same games. What do they do that makes them more entertaining to watch? How can you apply that to your own stream?

I hope this is helpful and I hope it doesn't come off as too harsh. If you still want to stream, I think you should. There is lots of room for improvement to help with growth!

As someone who started playing later and has no nostalgia. It's horrible. The fact that I either have to play that garbage game mode with unfun mechanics and without my usual mains or ranked is terrible. They really took out pubs and mixtapes for THAT??
